Off Line Data Backup

Offline data backup is any backup that does not use an online server; i.e., saving backup data to a hard drive or CD.  Some people are worried about how secure their data would be online, but there are ways to make it more secure.
As well as online backup, with off line backup you can do a full, incremental or differential backup.  And there is offline data backup software that offers a lot of choices when it comes to backing up data.  You can use one-click data backup, files-in-use data backup, complete system backup, and automated offline data backup.

Offline data backup companies offer a variety of soft ware than can range anywhere from free to hundreds of dollars.  The free ones are probably not the best quality software, and it is ridiculous to pay a couple hundred dollars.  Genie Backup Manager is fast and has a lot of features and is easy to use.  The price ranges from $49.95 for Home, $69.95 for Pro, and $400 to buy a server with a 21 day money back guarantee.  Other backup software are NTI BackupNow!, NovaStor NovaBackup, Handy Backup, and Double Image.

Some software to avoid would be anything with Norton.  Norton has a tendency to crash Windows, a lot of options are not customizable, and it takes over the Master Boot Record and hijacks the boot process.  By it taking over the MBR, it acts much like a virus.   It also slows down your system.  Also, you cannot remove most Norton programs from your computer easily.  It establishes itself in your operating system.   Therefore, you have to download and use Norton`s own Norton Removal Tool.
